15cm, Bonneville Shooting Star is a herbaceous dwarf perennial with a basal rosette of ovate to broadly lanceolate, slightly fleshy and pubescent leaves and a short inflorescence with bright pink nodding flowers. Native of meadows in Western USA. Easily cultivated in any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Seeds from a wild collection in Blaine County, Idaho, USA, at some 2050m. V-VI.
