Primula helodoxa
70 (110)cm, one of the tallest and most impressive candelabra primroses with intense yellow flowers in 4 to 7 whorls above a huge leaf rosette. Similar to Primula smithiana (syn. P. prolifera), yet much larger in all aspects. Native of wet meadows of W Yunnan (Tengyueh) to NW Burma. For any rich, slightly moist soil in partial shade. VI-VII.
