Pycnosorus globosus (Drumsticks)
20 (70)cm, Drumsticks is a showy perennial with dense tufts of narrow basal leaves and several upright stalks crowned by globose, rich yellow flower balls which excellently suit as cut flower or in dry flower arrangements. Native of dryish or sandy soils in shrub lands and grasslands in south western Australia. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. Keep drier in winter at a minimum of some 15°C. VII-VIII.
